Four Hand Massage

The Four Hand Massage is two massage therapists working on you at the same time doing a combination of the different types of massages. This technique was created by to better stimulate the client and make better use of the client’s time.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue is a very broad category of massage therapy. It is essentially the application of firm pressure on deeper levels of muscle to address tension, adhesions and scar tissue. Pressure can be applied with fingers, thumbs, forearm, elbow and the use of tools, and the a shiatsu therapists use their feet!

Swedish Massage

The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood that is returning to the heart. Swedish massage was developed in the 1700's by a Swedish doctor named Per Henrik Ling.

Soft Touch Massage

The soft touch massage is a gentle slow moving rub that circulates the blood as well as stimulating the muscles, ordering them to relax. This is a great massage to release the mind and body of stress. Generally you would like to have this after a long work week, leaving you fresh and clear headed for your time not spent at the office.

Reiki Massage

Reiki is a healing technique that originated in Tibet and has been practiced for over 2,500 years. Strictly speaking, Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy. It is one of the more widely known forms of healing through direct application of Chi, or a force very similar to Chi. Chi is the term used by the Chinese mystics and martial artists for the underlying force the Universe is made of.
